Accommodation within a local family
After a much appreciated first experience since two years, the Festival offers the opportunity again to stay with a local family. This will permit you to discover Malian life.
We have inventory of families who are willing to receive guests. You will have a simple but clean room. You can reserve at our reservation page. Bring your mosquito net, sheets, and towels, the family will take care of the rest.
Price: 3500 FCFA (=5,35 euros) pp a night (breakfast included)

Accommodation in a dormitory
In the Segou stadium there are several rooms and dormitories with air conditioning, equipped with mattresses, toilets outside. You can reserve a place with the festival. Please bring your own sheets/sleeping bag, mosquito net and towels.
Double rooms cost 8000 FCFA a night.
In a dormitory (between 10 and 40 places), a place costs 2000 FCFA a night.
(1 euro = 655 FCFA).

The camping site
1 mile from the festival site we've created a camping site where you can rent a modern tent or a   VIP tent, made of camel skin, and equipped for 4 persons. There is a bathroom block.     Make your reservation on the     reservation    page. Please bring sheets and towels.
Prices per night (1 euro = 655 FCFA):
  3 000 FCFA a campingplace, if you bring your own tent
  7 500 FCFA if you rent a tent with the Festival on the Niger (modern tents for 2 persons)
  25 000 FCFA if you rent a VIP tent with the Festival on the Niger (Tuareg tent with a bed and chairs).

Luxury cabine: 20.000 FCFA a night one big bed or 25.000 FCFA a night for two small beds
First class: 10.000 FCFA a night for a bed (there are 2 beds in each room)
Second class: 7.500 FCFA a night for a bed (several beds in a room)
Third class: 5.000 FCFA a night for a bed (several beds in a room).

Hotels and other sleeping accommodation
Maybe you already contacted some hotels in Segou and they all told you that they were full. Segou has other less known but nice hotels and alternative sleeping accommodations. In the table below you'll find the contact information to reserve a room (the country code for Mali is 223, and local time is Universal Time).
